REALLY SUPER-DUPER KOSHER
In order to make sure that every Jew will feel comfortable at the Festival, all the food is strictly kosher. On the Queen Mary all catering that we order is supervised by either the RCC or Kehilla, the two largest kosher supervision agencies in Los Angeles.
At Brandeis, they are supervised by a special rabbinical supervision.
In addition, the kitchen and all food preparations, are overseen by Rabbi Yonah Bookstein, an orthodox rabbi with expertise in kosher supervision, who also runs the boutique kosher supervision hashgacha, Cal Kosher.
All meat is glatt-kosher, vegetables are soaked, cleaned and checked. In addition, all cheese is Cholov Yisroel and we have Cholov Milk available.
Every product is checked, and we have full time supervision in the kitchen.
