ABOUT SOLOMON: KING, POET AND LOVER (A play about one man and 700 wives.)
SOLOMON is a raucous rollercoaster of a play, and written by Marcus J Freed & Dr Raphael Zarum in 1999. Who was the man that wrote Biblical wisdom, created beautiful poetry, built the Temple and had a personal harem? Marcus plays the King, his 700 wives, 300 concubines, and the court accountant. Rabbi Joseph Telushkin called it “smart, utterly original and deeply insightful”. Performed in over 15 countries, SOLOMON is unmissable.

“Marcus, amongst his many talents, is a playwright and dramatist
and actor-manager and all the rest of it…So, Marcus, I say: Use your
many, many wonderful talents to bring a Jewish presence to the
arts. I will even give you ‘Certified under Chief Rabbinate
supervision!’”
Chief Rabbi Sir Jonathan Sacks
