2010 JEWISH FILM COMPETITION NOW OPEN FOR SUBMISSIONS
Seeking the best in Jewish themed short films!
Have you already made that masterpiece? Do you have a great idea a film that you want to make? Want your name to join the ranks of Spielberg, Allen & Coen?
Enter a short film on a Jewish subject and you could win $500.
This nationwide film competition is for young, “amateur status”* filmmakers . All films will be eligible for the the Grand Prize, 2nd place and 3rd place. Winners will be chosen by a panel of veteran filmmakers from Hollywood and New York. Selected films will be shown at Jewlicious Festival and Jewish Film Festivals around the world.
COST: FREE! – limit one film per filmmaker.
ELIGIBILITY: Films up to 30 min. in length.
- Principal filmmaker must not be a working professional in the field.
- Entrant must be aged 18-26 during the Jewlicious Festival.
- Film’s subject must pertain to Judaism, Jewish Identity or the “Jewish Experience”
PRIZES: $500 prize for winner or trip to festival, plus 2nd and 3rd Place prizes
ENTRY: Submissions will be accepted until Midnight, February 11th, 2010.
