Jewlicious Festival is adding a fun-paced “Beach Bike Ride” as part of the 5th annual Jewlicious Festival, on Sunday, March 1, 2009 at 9am.
Many people are looking to alternative transportation with the rising gas prices and a higher consciousness of the environmental impacts of cars.
The bike ride will address these issues from a Jewish perspective while getting some exercise, and introducing people to a really social form of cycling. The hope is this will turn into a monthly bike ride that we continue to do as a Jewlicious program in Los Angeles and Orange County.
The bike ride will be taking several routes, enjoy breakfast at the beach, and then ride back.
Bikers need to bring bikes. Secure storage at the AJCC will be provided.
